Walk the magical pathway into the vegetable field, through the wildflowers, edged with lavender bushes and sunflowers, up to Buzzard yurt. Enjoy the extensive views across the Axe valley from the wooden veranda, perfect for sunrise cups of tea or yoga stretches and moonrise cuddles and hot chocolates.
Buzzard yurt is an 18ft dark green yurt, oak framed and handmade by Peter in Wales.

Inside is carpeted with reclaimed Axminster carpet, a king size bed, bunkbeds and a spare single futon .
The yurt is off grid, so lighting is by Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels.
A woodburner will keep you cosy in the evenings if needed (we provide the first basket of logs for free) There is a simple gas cooker for making hot drinks.
The yurt has a grassy lawn area, a picnic table and a wood fired earth oven for the more adventurous slow cooks. Views over the vegetable terraces.
Relax in a hammock under the walnut and damson trees.
A private compost toilet is near your yurt, the ultimate ‘loo with a view!’ Using compost toilets saves water (no flushing!) and also recycles the ‘waste’ rather than creating pollution.
Back down the wildflower path towards the house there is the wooden cabin with comfy sofas, woodburner, lots of books, games, craft materials and fancy dress to enjoy, plus mains electricity. The cabin has a table and chairs for eating meals, as well as a picnic table area outside.
Next to the cabin is Buzzard kitchen a cosy undercover kitchen with all basic equipment plus a fridge, 4 ring gas cooker and a small electric oven.
Through the kitchen is Buzzard’s indoor solar shower. With water heated from the solar hot water system on the roof of the cabin (topped up with electricity if the sun doesn’t shine)
